I’m a photographer, who also likes to write articles to support my photo assignments. My passion is photographing and writing about people, places and lifestyle all around the world.
My photojournalistic approach involves me establishing an iterative relationship with my clients so that I can fully understand their requirements and deliver an outcome that they value. In essence I want my clients to “buy in” to my approach so that when I am photographing or writing, I can sense their presence as if they are looking over my shoulder and through my eyes.
The photographer I most admire is Imogen Cunningham (1883-1976) who once commented when asked what was her favourite photograph. Her response “Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow”. That response says a lot about life in general, I reckon. Well, Imogen, thankfully, I’m still searching for that “favourite photograph” which is what gets me out of bed in the mornings to pick up my cameras.
I am based in Melbourne, Australia but am fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to many places around the world.
